  • Pam Montgomery, well said. I worked with a person reputed to be a Klansman, it certainly did not make me his best buddy as I am of the wrong heritage. Association does not mean you agree or are of like character.

  • I am an Obama supporter, and I would like to know if it is just me, or is there anyone else who has thought about McCain and the effects of what 5+ years of torture could do to a person. Can anyone ever be normal after enduring that.

  • Joann, I applaud you! I am so proud that someone is able to put what so many of us would like to say into words we can all understand. All of us who can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel are grateful!

  • I am for Obama, but I want to know if anyone has thought about McCain and what 5+ years of torture could do to a person? Is anyone ever normal (if there is such a thing as normal) after enduring that? Even though he jokes about it now, I have serious questions about how it effects/ed him.

  • Has anyone thought about what 5+ years of torture could do to a person?  Can that person go on to live a normal life?  Are there lingering effects from that abuse?  Is that person ever really mentally fit, even if he/she jokes about it years later?
